Subprocessors

    Last updated: 11 August 2026

Azon IA, a brand of Knowledge Addict, Lda., tax ID (NIF) 518944824, relies on the subprocessors listed below to provide its services. All of them are bound by a data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR.

Changes: we notify customers of any addition or replacement of a subprocessor 30 days in advance, by email to the contact indicated on the account. The customer may object with justification within that period. To receive these notices, write to [email protected].

Subprocessors in the Voice agents and Customer-specific categories only process data when the customer contracts those services. Customers who use text channels only do not have data processed by them.

    Location and transfers

Our customers' data is stored and processed in the European Union. The database and files reside in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1), and the artificial intelligence models are contracted through European entities — OpenAI Ireland, Anthropic Ireland and Google Cloud EMEA.

Some subprocessors are headquartered outside the European Economic Area and may access data for support, maintenance and incident response. In these cases, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Decision (EU) 2021/914), complemented by technical and organizational measures — selection of a European region, encryption at rest and in transit, per-customer isolation and limited retention periods.

This applies to: Supabase (Singapore, with processing in the European Union), Telnyx, Retell AI, VAPI, ElevenLabs, Sentry and Upstash (United States).

    Underlying infrastructure

For transparency, we indicate the infrastructure underlying some of the subprocessors above. These entities have no direct contractual relationship with Azon IA.

    Notes

Artificial intelligence models. None of the model providers uses the content processed on our behalf to train their systems.

Self-hosted software. The automation engine we use is open-source software running on infrastructure under our control. The software vendor does not process data on our behalf and, therefore, is not a subprocessor — the relevant subprocessor is the hosting provider.

Special categories of data. Our agents are configured, at the platform level, not to request or record health data, medication or medical history. The services are not intended for the processing of special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR without prior specific written agreement.
